Ukrainian conductor, flutist, and cultural entrepreneur Oleg Sheremeta is a key figure connecting international artistic resources with China’s classical music concert production field. A distinguished graduate of the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine, he served as principal flutist of the National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine for a decade (2006–2016), performing in over 20 countries and collaborating with world-renowned conductors at leading festivals and competitions.
Since settling in China in 2016, Oleg has actively contributed to the development of the local symphonic scene and international collaboration. He founded and directed the Kunming International Philharmonic Orchestra (2017–2022), building a high-level international symphony orchestra. Served as Deputy Director of the Shanghai Nine Trees Philharmonic Orchestra (2022–2025), working with numerous prominent Chinese conductors and musicians and expanded the orchestra’s artistic reach.
In 2020, Oleg established Dengtai Arts Agency and Reprise Orchestra, focusing on professional classical music concert production and project execution. His work spans national concert tours across 30+ cities, studio recordings, media projects, and film productions.
