Reprise Orchestra is renowned for its flexible and versatile organization, ranging from small chamber ensembles of duos and trios, to chamber orchestras of 15 to 20 players, to large symphony orchestras of 45 to 80 players. This flexibility allows Reprise Orchestra to tailor its performances to the needs of each occasion and to meet the unique requirements of each project with virtuosic performances. The orchestra’s repertoire ranges from classical masterpieces, symphonies, opera and ballet to contemporary, pop, rock and electronic music, making it an ideal partner for concerts, festivals, competitions and special events. Founder and Artistic Director Oleg Sheremeta is a Ukrainian conductor and flutist of European and Asian reputation. He has served as principal flutist of the Ukrainian National Symphony Orchestra and has performed with the Kiev Symphony Orchestra, the National Radio Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine, the Lviv National Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Kunming International Philharmonic Orchestra, among other prestigious orchestras. Currently, he serves as deputy director and permanent conductor of the Shanghai Nine Trees Philharmonic Orchestra. Since moving to China in 2016, Oleg has actively promoted and led innovative musical projects, and his relentless pursuit of cross-cultural collaboration and artistic excellence has contributed significantly to the realization of the beautiful vision and success of the Reprise Orchestra.

Principal Guest Conductor Gaddiel Dombrowner, a French-Israeli maestro, is celebrated for his dynamic artistry and contributions to both opera and symphonic music. A winner of numerous international conducting competitions, including the 2022 Koussevitzky Conducting Competition, he has led prominent orchestras such as the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine, and Hong Kong Sinfonietta. Gaddiel’s expertise and passion for education, reflected in his masterclasses and mentorship programs, bring depth and inspiration to the orchestra’s projects.

Reprise Orchestra has solidified its reputation as one of the country’s leading orchestras with nationwide tours and performances at many of China’s top venues, including the Beijing Concert Hall, Shanghai Concert Hall, Shanghai Oriental Art Center, Guangzhou Grand Theater, Shenzhen Concert Hall, Harbin Concert Hall, Chongqing Grand Theater, and Wuhan Qintai Concert Hall. In addition to live performances, the orchestra regularly participates in numerous film and television projects, greatly expanding its artistic reach. One of the orchestra’s proudest achievements is its participation in the production of the soundtrack for the 2022 film Operation Moscow. In addition, the orchestra is actively involved in studio recording, creating music for CDs, television programs, films, and video games.
