Biography

Born in Milan (Italy) in 1994, studied cello at Milan Conservatory “Giuseppe Verdi”, where he graduated with full marks cum laude. Winner of several prizes within international competitions.

He performed in many solo concerts in Italy (for milanese “Società del Quartetto”, at Sala Verdi of Milan Conservatory, at Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza) and in China (WGQ Cultural and Arts Center in Shanghai, Sichuan Conservatory of Music Concert Hall in Chengdu, Zhoushan Putuo Grand Theatre in Zhoushan, Banlam Grand Theater in Xiamen, Nantong Grand Theatre in Nantong).

Chamber music concerts are numerous too (for example with New MADE Ensemble and with pianist Bruno Canino) as well as orchestral concerts, with several tours all over Europe (Italy, Germany, France, England, Switzerland), in Dubai and in China. At Milan Conservatory he also studied composition, with Sonia Bo and Paolo Tortiglione, and in 2015 he attended “Educational Music Academy” courses by Italian composer Roberto Cacciapaglia, who he collaborated with also as cellist for album recordings and concerts. In 2016 he collaborated with Sony Music label for an album recording. In 2019 Italian composer Giovanni Allevi invited him to play a piano-cello duet as part of his own concert in Turin (Italy).

In the same year he recorded and published his first album of own original piano solo compositions, “Dialogue”, which he frequently performs during his solo concerts. Since 2019 he is based in China, first at “Florence (Dalian) Culture & Arts Exchange Center” music school in Dalian as a cello teacher, and then from 2022 in Nantong at Nantong University, where he works as Cello Professor and First Cellist of Nantong University Symphony Orchestra.
